GOODBYE, RAINER!

With this issue we bid farewell to one of our staff members who has been helping to keep this Communique going:
Rainer Dröse from Germany, who has been with us for the past year and a half and has been responsible for our administration.
After heroic efforts to keep our books straight (a seemingly impossible task), handle sometimes rather strange requests (from WISE staff and readers alike!), and deal with all the craziness involved with an endeavor such as ours, he leaves us to return home and continue schooling.
We thank him (especially our editor thanks him -- she owes him for, among other things, not being homeless and roaming the streets of Amsterdam with a teenage son in tow), and wish him all the best.
(After working in an office full of people from all over the globe, Rainer still tells the best stories about the confusion that results when people who speak various native languages try to communicate with eachother...)

Editing and Production: Ayn Lowry, Marissa Irwin and Can Merey, with contributions from Dirk Bannink, Surendra Gadekar, Miles Goldstick, Jaume Morron, Cristina Pannocchia, Lidia Popova and Lindsey Stevenson.

Production of this material is encouraged. Please give credit when reprinting.
